Prologis has announced a recommended all-share combination with SEGRO. Subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals, the transaction will combine two leading logistics real estate companies to create a stronger global platform serving customers across the UK, Europe and beyond.

Please visit the Documents and Resources page for the latest official announcements and transaction information.

Prologis has operated in the UK for nearly 30 years and is a committed long-term investor in the country. Over the past decade, we have invested £5.6 billion in the UK, with a further £5.5 billion publicly committed.

Our UK platform supports key global and domestic customers, including Sainsbury’s, Jaguar Land Rover, Marks & Spencer, VIRTUS, Royal Mail and Tesco. In 2024, the value of goods flowing through Prologis warehouses was equivalent to 2.4% of UK GDP, while activity tied to our operations supported more than 100,000 direct, indirect and induced jobs. Since 2018, Prologis has also contributed £171.4 million in social value across the UK.

Prologis believes SEGRO customers could benefit from Prologis’ global platform, deep local expertise and capacity to invest across logistics, data centres and energy.

The combined business would be positioned to support customers across a broader network of leading logistics markets and provide access to an expanded range of real estate, infrastructure and operational solutions. Prologis also believes its technology and data capabilities could further enhance customer service and help meet the needs of businesses operating across increasingly international supply chains.

Until any transaction is completed, Prologis and SEGRO remain separate companies.

Prologis has not made any decisions about the future structure of the combined company or changes affecting employees or management. Any decisions would be made only after completion of the transaction and a careful review, as well as any required consultation with employees and employee representatives.
